What do you do when you've prayed, trusted, waited… and nothing changes?
In Week 3 of our Dry Seasons series, Pastor Josh Neel shares a message titled When Nothing Changes. Through the life of Job, we discover what it means to remain faithful when God doesn't change our circumstances, answer our prayers the way we hoped, or move according to our timeline.

What do you do when what you have doesn't seem like enough?
In Week 2 of our Dry Seasons series, Pastor Josh shares a message titled When You Don't Have Enough. Through Matthew 17:24–27, we discover that God already knows what we need before we even ask, and His provision often comes in ways we least expect.
When Jesus instructed Peter to go fishing to find the money needed to pay the temple tax, He demonstrated how supernatural provision can come through natural obedience. God often works through the abilities, opportunities, and gifts He has already placed in our hands, inviting us to trust Him and take the next step in faith.
But God's provision also comes with responsibility. He doesn't simply care about meeting our needs; He cares about how we steward what He entrusts to us. When we recognize Him as our provider, we learn to walk in obedience, manage His blessings faithfully, and trust Him with what we cannot control.

In Week 1 of our new Dry Seasons series, Pastor Josh shares a message titled When Heaven Goes Silent. We all experience seasons when God feels distant, our prayers seem unanswered, and we're left wondering what He is doing. But God's silence does not mean His absence, and waiting does not mean He has stopped working.
Between Malachi and Matthew, God's people experienced roughly 400 years without a prophetic voice recorded in Scripture. Yet while Heaven seemed silent, God was preparing the world for the arrival of Jesus. What appeared to be a season of waiting was actually part of a much greater plan.
The same can be true in our lives. Even when we can't hear God or see what He's doing, we can trust that He is still present, still faithful, and still working.
What feels like neglect may actually be a season of strategic provision. If you're walking through a dry season, don't mistake God's silence for His absence. Trust Him in the waiting—He may be preparing something you cannot see yet.

What happens when the values we believe are put to the test?
In the final week of our Core Values series, Pastor Josh shares a message titled Built Different. Looking at Daniel 1, we see Daniel and his friends enter a culture that pressured them to compromise who they were and what they believed. Faced with acceptance, comfort, and opportunity, they chose conviction—and God caused them to stand out because they were willing to stand firm.
The same challenge exists for us today. Biblical values aren't meant simply to be words we agree with when they're convenient. They shape who we are, guide our decisions, and help us remain faithful when the culture around us pulls in another direction.
As Hope City Community Church continues to grow, our goal isn't simply to become a bigger church. It's to remain clear about who God has called us to be and faithful to the values and vision He has given us.
Trends may get attention, but values and vision build something that lasts. We are called to be different because we have been built on something different.

Our Core Values define who we are. They guide what we do, guard where we go, and show what we stand for.
In Week 2 of our Core Values messages, Elder Troy Peaden introduces the six values that help define the identity and mission of Hope City Community Church. Together, these values form the acronym CHASED and provide a practical framework for how we live, serve, love, and pursue the mission God has given us.
But our values aren't simply words we've chosen for ourselves. In this message, we see how the Great Commission in Matthew 28 and the Greatest Commandment in Matthew 22 are woven throughout all six, providing a biblical foundation for who we are called to be as a church.
Ultimately, everything points back to the grace of Jesus. We are called to love God, love people, make disciples, and faithfully live out the mission He has entrusted to us.
This is who we are. This is what guides us. We are CHASED by GRACE.

What guides your decisions when the pressure is on?
In this standalone message, Elder Tim Bolduc explores The Biblical Case for Core Values and why the values we establish before difficult moments can shape how we respond when those moments come.
Core values do more than define what we believe. They help define who we are, guide our decisions, establish healthy guardrails, and keep us focused on the calling God has placed before us.

In God’s Kingdom, the path to life often looks completely opposite to the instincts of our flesh. If we truly want to live, something in us has to die.
In Week 3 of Kingdom Logic, Pastor Josh unpacks Romans 6 and the freedom that comes when we stop negotiating with sin and begin putting to death the desires that keep us bound. Following Jesus isn’t about learning to better manage our old way of life. Through Christ, we are called to die to the old and walk in newness of life.
Too often, we ask God to help us control, improve, or even bless things He has already called us to surrender. But real freedom begins when we stop trying to preserve what Christ died to free us from.

Kingdom Logic turns the world’s definition of strength upside down.
In Week 2 of our Kingdom Logic series, Pastor Josh challenges the way we think about what it means to be strong. The world often defines strength by power, dominance, or the ability to overpower others—but in God’s Kingdom, true strength is revealed through what we have the power to do but choose not to do.
Through the fruit of the Spirit, we discover that gentleness, self-control, restraint, and a calm spirit are not signs of weakness. They are evidence of incredible strength. Real strength is having the ability to react, retaliate, or take control, yet possessing the discipline to surrender our response to God.
Sometimes the strongest person in the room isn’t the loudest or most powerful. It’s the person who could react—but chooses restraint.

When life goes down, Kingdom Logic says take it up!
In Week 1 of our new Kingdom Logic series, Pastor Josh looks at the story of Hezekiah and Sennacherib in 2 Kings 18–19 to reveal a powerful truth about prayer. When Hezekiah faced a situation beyond his ability to control, his response was to bring it before the Lord.
Prayer isn't meant to be our last resort when we've exhausted every other option—it's one of the most powerful weapons God has given us. Prayer changes us, shifts our perspective, strengthens our faith, and invites God into circumstances we cannot change on our own.
Whatever may be going down in your life—your circumstances, relationships, finances, health, or hope—don't carry it alone. Take it up in prayer and trust the God who is greater than whatever you're facing.

In the final week of our Exodus series, we turn our attention from what God has set us free from to what He has set us free for.
God hasn't given us freedom simply to sit back and wait on eternity. He has a purpose for our lives right now—a purpose that can impact the lives and eternities of the people around us.
In Freedom to Dream, we explore the power and purpose of dreaming with God. When we trust Him with our future, we can begin to see beyond our limitations and believe that He can use our lives for something greater than ourselves.
As we close out the Exodus series, we're challenged not just to live free, but to do something with that freedom. Trust God with the plans He's placed in your heart, step boldly into His purpose, and don't be afraid to dream big.
